Question : Hi, I am 33yrs female,i have a crack in one corner of my lips for past 3 days,i ve been applying lip balm for past 3 days,butstill the crack has not reduced, and i feel pain to open my mouth. i feel like its normal chapped lips, i doubt if it is a fungal infection.

If you do not have any other symptom like fever, then it is most likely just a cracked lip due to dehydration of heat.

Continue applying a good lip balm like Nivea.

Drink plenty of water.

Please upload a clear photograph of the lesion so that I can confirm if there is any infection in the lesion.

Thank you for the image, I have seen it carefully and it looks like just cracked lips due to dehydration.

There are no signs of any infection.

Continue applying the lip balm.

Drink plenty of water.

And take Multivitamin capsules for 10 days.

It will heal in about 5 days. Do not worry.
