Spotting before a period is normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I understand your concern.
The light bleeding you are experiencing two days before the regular period starts is called spotting or staining. It's basically enough blood to leave a mark on the underwear, but not enough to necessitate a pad.
Spotting up to three days before a period is normal and is part of the physiological process. Spotting more than three days before a period is not normal and it usually indicates a hormonal problem or an overgrowth in the uterus or cervix.
However, if you have never experienced this kind of spotting before and this has started only recently, then I'd recommend you see a gynecologist for further investigation, as this could not only affect your chances of getting pregnant but could also indicate something that needs further in-depth medical attention.
I hope this answers your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Conception possible but needs further investigation
Detailed Answer:
Yes, there may still be a chance to conceive, however, considering your age and the fact that spotting may be indicative of a hormonal imbalance or something more, I highly recommend you see a Gynecological/Infertility specialist who will order the appropriate tests for a better understanding of the state of your reproductive system.
I hope this answers your question.

Metformin use can reveal the problem with the uterine lining
Detailed Answer:
Some clinical cases have revealed that patients who have menstrual cycle changes after using Metformin may have an endometrial disease, that is a problem with the uterine inner lining. This may also be a major cause for failure to conceive.
It is very important that you do a vaginal ultrasound in order to rule out an endometrial disease. Without testing it is not possible for any doctor to give you an accurate answer, so please talk to a gynecologist for further investigation.
