Question: Hi, I am a 27 years old female. About 5 years ago. My period became extremely irregular. I would not stop heavy bleeding for months on end. Visited my local gyno, he prescribed birth control to help regulate my system. I was on that dose for about 3 years before he decided to up the dose last year after some concerns with my period. I never quite understood what was actually wrong with me. I have always had brown dried discharge before my period began. Most my periods would last a few days. Last month I had a very irregular period about 1 day, hardly any blood. This month, absolutely nothing. I am sexual active with my husband and took a at home test about 4 days after my period didn't come, it was negative. I've had some odd colored discharge after sex as well, kind of a brown pink. Throughout the day I sometimes get this or a somewhat clear all the time. I will have a slight stabbing sensation every once in a while down there. Some breast tenderness, once in a while. I have very little sexy drive, I've gained alot of weight in this past year that I can't really explain because I am pretty active, and also don't have much of an appetite. I have a consult in for my local gyno but he is booked months on end and I wont see him till around April.

Here are a few answers to the questions above.
I have never had a usg done. My last gyno appointment was in XXXXXXX of this year. I had a exam, but no pap since I did it last year. My understanding it's every 3 years. I have never had any blood work done since my first visit with my gyno. I am not sure what they tested for but was told I was normal. As far as working out goes. I typically do 20-30 minutes full body with core focus a day. I also own horses and other livestock. So the manual labor of cleaning, riding, hauling hay and feed along with other tasks. My breast tenderness usually appears about 2 says before the start of my period. I typically don't have very many pms symptoms, maybe some bloating. No cramping, cravings. The only prescription I am on is my lo Loesteinei Fe (misspelled) and that has been the same meds since 5 years minus a dose increase last year. I go do a yearly woman exam to keep my prescription going. During the day and at night I will take Tylenol, I also take a multi vitamin for woman daily. My diet isn't squeaky clean. But I don't drink hardly any soda maybe 1 can a day or less. Not alot of fast food, greasy meals or junk. I eat one salad a day with has a variety of lettuce, egg, cheese, and some fruit. I typically only eat about 2 a day. Not very large meals. Once in a while I will have a large meal. I drink mainly water and Gatorade. More water than anything. I've tried weight lose diets or counting calories with zero success besides a few pounds in a month.

Hi there
Thanks for appreciating the answer and reverting back to me.
I have gone through your reply.

Please do continue with healthy lifestyle, as before.
Regular exercise and healthy diet is a good thing that you are following.

For your PMS- premenstrual syndrome and related symptoms I will suggest you to start with Long acting form of vitamin B 6, as a supplement one tablet daily for 3 months.
Please do continue with the other supplements that you have been already taking.

Please get USG report and thyroid function tests done.
For abnormal vaginal discharge and pain in lower abdomen, please get gynecology check up done including per speculum and per vaginal examination.
This will help to rule out any local pathology of cervix like cervical erosion and or poltp etc.
