Hi I Am Having A Problem With My Drug Screens

Question: Hi I am having a problem with my drug screens and I need help because there is something seriously wrong but no one will listen because I’m automatically guilty and I’m lying because they said the tests don’t lie but they do! I have been going to a clinic for 1yr now, and about 2 months into going to this clinic my counselor started telling me my drug screens were coming back with high PH levels and that I may have a UTI ( I have had a history of chronic UTI and one time I had a kidney stone the size of a quarter causing them) but then about 3 1/2 months into going to this clinic I failed for cocaine metabolite.... I was devastated and confused and couldn’t understand why because I do not do cocaine. It started getting more frequent to where I’m failing for cocaine metabolite ALMOST EVERY time and if I don’t fail for the cocaine metabolite, I am coming back with high PH levels and they are saying that means that I’m “tampering” with the urine specimen... I’m telling you that I AM NOT and I need someone to help me with this. I need someone to tell me what I need to have tested and all of that. I also have went from 153lbs to 198lbs in less than 2 WEEKS! Something isn’t right and I need help please

Hi, I just take the methadone and I’m just recently on adapex because of the sudden weight gain. But I was having these issues way before the adapex. Unfortunately they won’t test by blood sample. It’s a methadone clinic and if I fail for narcotics in my urine then I’m automatically guilty and did them because I was once addicted to pain pills because of the chronic back pain since I can remember. I haven’t been tested for kidney failure or anything and I was wanting to see if you may know what tests I should try to see about getting done so I can see what the bigger issue that is going on, I am not using any drugs at all so I shouldn’t be failing for the cocaine metabolite. Benzoylecgonine is the name of the cocaine metabolite they keep finding in my urine. But I am not doing cocaine so what else could make me show up with that metabolite? I need help. My family doctor has been so rude and basically told me she don’t have time for me. I have that in a couple of messages from her. She honestly tells me she don’t have time and I have so many issues with my health that I need help with but as of right now this one is the most important to me at the moment.

I’m not around no one at all that’s doing any drugs. That’s why I don’t understand it at all. It’s so crazy. I honestly don’t do cocaine, I’m not around anyone at all that does it and it’s so baffling to me because that’s what I’ve been told, that I am coming in contact with it but I don’t associate with anyone that does. It’s just me and my 9 an 11 yr old. I’ll go to my moms once and a while, but most of the time I’m working 45-50 hrs a week at a tattoo shop. It’s a clean and respectable shop and I don’t touch none of the customers with bare hands, and I know my boss doesn’t do anything or the other girl here. I just don’t get it or understand it.

It’s positive every 3rd or 4th test and the ones that isn’t positive is showing a high PH. Before the false positives the tests I was showing high PH every 3rd or 4th test. My counselor would tell me that I needed to be tested for a UTI when they would have the high PH. Now when I don’t have the false positive I have a high PH and they are saying that that means I’m trying to “manipulate” the drug test, by drinking a lot of water before the drug test or I’m trying to use a flush or something. I don’t know what a flush is, but they said if I am doing this, my methadone levels are exactly where They are supposed to be though. So that doesn’t make sense either. My urine is dark yellow to almost orange and it has a very very strong odor. I have a history of chronic UTI’s. I have had a kidney stone the size of a quarter that they found doing some xrays of my screws and rods in my back for my neurologist. I wish they would give me a different drug screen but urine is the only one they will do. I’ve asked if they would do a drug screen blood test and they said they don’t do that. I have medicaid so the clinic send my urine specimens all the way to XXXXXXX to have it analyzed and the patients that don’t have the state/government insurance, the clinic sends their urine specimens to their lab. In Tennessee I think? I’ve even offered to pay for them to be sent to the other lab and they wouldn’t let me. They were supposed to start doing the dip tests before they had it sent off but I haven’t heard nothing and haven’t been told nothing. When they told me that they were going to start doing that, it gave me the idea to buy some myself that is a 5 panel dip test that does Test for cocaine. That way when they would do a drug screen on me, I would use one of mine and have proof that I didn’t fail on my tests.... I’ve taken them every time too and I haven’t had a positive for NOTHING on them but my counselor would call me between 8-10 days later and tell me that I have failed. It’s crazy and there is something that’s not right. I have tried to find something on the internet that might could help or point me in the right direction to at least give me somewhere to test first like my kidneys or something. I did read one thing online and I have the link but it says something went wrong and to come back later. It’s the nbc-2 website so it’s a credible site. It said kidney disease can cause a false positive for cocaine and it said a couple of other things. This is the link for when or if they upload the content again.
