The most common cause could be a migraine attack.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.
I have noted your symptoms. Based on that, the most likely cause of headache is an acute migraine attack.
You may take NAPROXEN tablet for relief.
If pain persists, you should get it evaluated by a doctor and brain CT scan may be done at that stage.
I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.
I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
Best wishes,

Normal CT scan is reassuring.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
I am glad to note that CT scan was normal. it is reassuring and rules out serious problems such as brain tumor and blood clots.
As the symptoms are recurring on daily basis, you should go for further investigations. This would require MRI with MR Angiogram Brain, to exclude any reduction in blood flow to brain.
