Question : Hi I am having bad stomach cramps and my period is due but hasn’t arrived yet. I have no other symptoms that i usually get before my period. I missed one of my birth control tablets one day during my cycle. Could I be pregnant

Thanks for trusting us about your healthcare.

I have gone through your history and understood your concern. Most likely this could be due to hormonal imbalance caused by pill.
However as you had missed one pill from the pack and if you had unprotected sex,you may not be effectively protected and you may get pregnant.

So I suggest to wait and watch for your periods. But if missed period date for 7 days or more, I recommend to get your home urine pregnancy test to rule out the possibility of pregnancy.

You can take over the counter painkillers for abdominal pain.
