                                    Brief Answer:
Can be a myofascial pain and need to see an oral surgeon
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for writing in.
As per your history and symptoms, it seems to be myofascial pain that occurs due to inflammation of TMJ muscles. There can be various reasons for that and if it increases on grinding teeth then you need to use mouth guard to relieve your muscles. You can also take inflammatory medicines for temporary relief and apply moist heat to that area, so that it doesn’t get stiff. If it still doesn’t resolve then please see an oral surgeon for physical examination.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you a good health.
Thanks & Regards
