Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and sympathise with you in this difficult period. Against all the odds your decision to remain abstinent from GHB is commendable and I wish you have minimal symptoms of withdrawal during this period.

First of all I like to inform you that almost all medications used/recommended during GHB withdrawal are considered restricted substances and can not be prescribed without physically examining the patient. This includes Ativan, Librium, Diazepam, propofol, barbiturates among others.

Considering this fact and your decision to not to step out of house I feel slow decrease of GHB is better option rather than the abrupt cessation.

I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
