Question : Hi, I am seeing a sudden hair fall problem. My Hair are very thin and i can see my bald head now. This gives me immense stress. Earlier i did some mistake like washing hair with hot water. There it started falling like anything. Now if oil my scalp, i can see some hairs while applying the oil. Please give some solution

Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
There are many causes of hair loss and treatment depends on the cause.
I would recommend you to get your haemoglobin, serum ferritin levels, serum vitamin D levels, serum vitamin B12 levels and thyroid function tests to rule out any abnormality as derangement in these are associated with hair loss.
Meanwhile you can apply minoxidil 5 percent lotion on the affected areas of the scalp twice daily and take hair supplements like tablet follihair A once daily.
These need to be continued for 4-5 months to see significant results.
