Question : Hi I dropped a heavy piece of wood on top of my foot. Right on the big toe and knuckle. It is bruised and swollen, but not a lot of pain until I walk on it. Icing and elevating, are there signs of when I should see a Dr.

With many injuries, the pain and additional symptoms, worsen by 24 to 48 hours, so it is possible that this may occur
You can monitor for this.
If the big toe becomes very painful, you may need to strap it to the adjacent toe for stability.
Pain is expected but if the pain is severe or there is any evidence of deformity of the foot, then you should be seen.
If you develop significant problems with ambulation, then you should also be seen as well.
Imaging of the foot may be needed
