Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
After hysterosonogram is performed is normal to have spotting or bleeding.
The spotting or bleeding usually gets better after a few days, but can last for up to two weeks.
You should not be worried.
You can use tampons without any problem until the bleeding stop.
I also suggest you to avoid sexual intercourse during this period because it might trigger the bleeding.
You may also have other symptoms such as abdominal cramping.
In this case you can use Acetaminophen for relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further
Spotting will surely stop after menstruation, you should not be worried.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again dear,
The spotting will surely stop after the menstruation.
You should not be worried.
If you will have more cramping than normal during menstruation you can use over the counter option like Tylenol as I mentioned above.
Only if you will have fever or other infection symptoms you can do a follow-up visit at the gynecologist.
Take care dear,
