Question : Hi I had sex 5 days ago and we used protection and I took a plan b a couple hours later. But I noticed yesterday that Im bleeding and I finished my period a week ago so would this be from the plan b? or is it my period? or am I pregnant? bc I looked it up and it said that I this could be pregnancy spotting. But at the same time, it isn’t really light it’s a little more on the medium side and I have a pad on and it fills it up.

Let me assure you that this is normal and taking an emergency contraception will inevitably give you bleeding (periods) in around 5 days from the date of taking the medication. This is normal and does not indicate that you are pregnant. This is not the spotting of pregnancy.
