Hi; I Had Typical Uti Symptoms Last Week And Got

Question: Hi; I had typical uti symptoms last week and got antibiotics on Thursday I felt a little better Friday, and yesterday morning now antibiotics are finished.

I have pain in my left hand stomach, groin and back, I also have pain in my pelvic area under belly button. My pee is cloudy and had a lot off floating white bits.
I have a slight discomfort down below.

Do you think I could need more antibiotics?

Your symptoms definitely sounds like a urinary tract infection. Do you have a fever? If so, the infection could be ascending and cause pyelonephritis which requires a few days of intravenous antibiotics. Have you had your urine cultured and if so, what did it show and what antibiotics did you take?

Hi thanks for the reply.

It was an anti starting with a N that I got for 3 days.

I spoke to my doctor this morning and she’s given me another one starting with “tri” For another 3 days course.

I have a lot of white things in my pee but the doctor doesn’t seem to worry I have attached a pic as I am worried, she said it doesn’t sound like pus but I’m unsure.

Because of covid I haven’t to go to the clinic she said if it’s not better after the 3 days then I’ve to send in a sample.

It sounds like a good plan to try trimethoprim. Your urine looks normal, just a tad cloudy. Make sure you drink plenty of water.
