Question : Hi, I have a white lining around my black part of the eye. I work in the software industry for the past 10 years. I am obese, 96 KGs for a height of 5.7 feet.

hey thanks for your question. This is called arcus and it can be due to age or due to increased cholesterol levels in the body. If your age is less than 40 I would advise you to get a lipid profile test done and if its deranged you may need cholesterol lowering medicines which need to be prescribed by a physician. If your age is above 40 then there is no need to worry about it and its just am age related change but anyways you can get the test done as high range of body lipid aka fats can cause problems elsewhere also especially the heart.
