Brief Answer:
Please give me some more information!
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern!
From your description, the situation does not seem to be straightforward.
Of course, a detailed clinical examination, a more detailed history, and some blood test results are needed to make a diagnosis and help with the treatment.
Would you please mention your gender, age, present bodyweight and specify why are you disable since 1990?
Why did your physician decided to start Zoloft and did you make him known that there is no effect from it?
Do you have any blood test results at home?
It will be a pleasure to help you further.
Best wishes,
Dr. Mirjeta

About obesity treatment;
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
An underactive thyroid can not be the cause of such overweight, it may be responsible for 3 or 4 kg but can not cause severe obesity.
You have entered in a vicious circle that is very difficult to get out, it needs a very strog motivation that not all the people have.
I see you a perfect candidate for intervention procedure (such as gastric sleeve) to treat the obesity.
Once you are back to a normal weight it will be more easy to restart a normal life.
Once this situation of corona virus is over, i would suggest to discuss with your physician about gastric sleeeve.
Hope the information will help.
Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta
