Hi Dr could this be and type of inflammation I do have back issues and very mild divirticulities which I have had these past 2 weeks. Does this mean I had a heart attack or could have is this just for heart disease. This number 2.2 is this considered Cardio enzymes and what do you do for this.

                                    Brief Answer:
It shows inflammation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again. CPR can be elevated if you actually are having inflammation like inflammatory bowel disease or arthritis. It can go down as inflammation is reduced.
Also damaged tissues or inflammation of heart lining such pericarditis.
This level doesn't show that you had infarction neither you will have.
It shows moderate risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you so I will assume that this elevation is due to my back and irritated bowel that I do have because I always here rumbling on my left side like it is talking to me.

also I have a very small breast cyst 3mm would this increase the CRP at all?

OK if you are having irritable bowel episodes or rheumatoid arthritis or other types of inflammation in your body it can be from it.

                                    Brief Answer:
It would be high
Detailed Answer:
Of course it would show high in case of lymphoma or lupus. Lupus and lymphoma both cause inflammation and connecting tissue inflammation

                                    Brief Answer:
Can't be judged by CRP alone
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
There is no clear relationship between CRP and cancer. There is not much evidence and findings are controversial.
I can't find any relationship between them that I can mention.
So, increased CRP may or may not be associated with any form of malignancy.
Best regards
