Question : Hi, I started taking duphaston 12 days back. My periods were delayed and I am already on my D-33. I have been having 28 days cycle since i first started my periods 20 years ago and my periods have never delayed. I started bleeding since last night, its not as heavy as periods but its definitely not light also. Could this be implantation bleeding or periods?
Brief Answer:
It is most likely your period
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
As per your description these symptoms could be due to hormonal imbalance or could be due to pregnancy( pregnancy chances are very very low)
As you are having proper menses, it is not implantation bleeding because it occurs around period time but it is usually a spotting.
Get your home urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy, if it is negative you can go for blood beta hcg level to rule out pregnancy. ( to be 100% sure)
Get your thyroid profile and hemoglobin test also.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck
