I read your query and here is my advice.

I think a red bowel movement is caused by blood in stools if you didn't had a red beetroot for dinner.
The bright red blood may be caused by haemorrhoids, enlarged veins in anus and if one is ruptured then the bleeding occurs.
I think you should visit a proctologyst to check you physically. Also I would recommend you to avoid straining and constipation which may make it worse.
