Question : Hi, I was bitten by a dog on November 9. I took my first dose of anti-rabies vaccine the same day. But, for some reason, I think I wasn't administered the vaccine properly. Can I restart the series of 5 doses of anti-rabies vaccine from tomorrow, November 11? As per my previous schedule, I am supposed to get my second dose on November 12. But, I want to restart the vaccination schedule from the beginning, which is from November 11. Will it have any adverse effect on my body's capability to produce enough immunity against rabies? Please suggest as I am very worried.

Hello,
You have to restart the entire course of the vaccine from the beginning.
Nothing much to worry and it will not affect the immunity.
Make sure that further doses has to be taken properly and in proper dose.
