Question : Hi I was just wondering if there are any contraindications between the drugs 4fa and amyl nitrite? Plase be specific as to why or why not these drugs shouldn't be used together, thanks in advance.

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
There are not certain contraindications between 4fa and amyl nitrite but it is not recommended the usage of both because they can increase strain on the heart placing it under additional stress.
The 4fa can cause stimulation,mood elevation and also increase the heart rate while amyl nitrite will widen the blood vessels sending less blood to heart.
This will cause fatigue to heart but it is not a certain contraindication or interaction.
