Question: Hi, I woke up with eye discomfort and noticed two small white bumps on inner eyelid rim

It’s the bottom eyelid rim and they look like small white pimples. The pain is when I blink

Also I just remembered that I
Used a new eye cream before bed that has retinol. Wondering if could be a connection

Thank you. A stye can develop in lower eyelid rim. You’d have to lower my rim in order to see the white bump so it’s not directly on the lash line more inner.
Also could an eye cream have caused it ?

That could be cyst also but cysts are usually painless

Hey thanks for the follow up . The cream wont cause painful swelling but yeah like infection from the skin fo our fingers while using the cream can cause a stye. Hope it helps

Thanks. It’s been a couple days now and I’ve been using an antibiotic ointment daily but it’s still there. Pain a little less.

If it doesn’t go way in a week what usually happens next or do most resolve ?
