If someone has fever and slight cough, but no breathing problem, then anything to worry?
As explained below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It depends on from when he/she is having fever and cough. If it has just started we should not ignore and should monitor his symptoms as it gets worse during the second week of illness. So visit your local doctor and keep in touch with your family doctor and any worsening of symptoms you need to be ready for hospitalization.
Even if you have symptoms and have not traveled to areas where infection rates have been high or been exposed to someone who has, it's highly unlikely that you have one of these new coronaviruses. You may have another type of virus, such as the flu.
Meanwhile taking preventive measures such as being isolated in your home, maintain good hygiene, taking adequate rest and drinking good amount of fluids. Like any other flu, symptomatic treatment remains the main stay of treatment.
I hope this helps. Please feel free to discuss further.
Regards,
