                                            Question : Hi,
I'm a 25 year old female. I suffer from anxiety and scoliosis. In the last 6 months I have begun having severe back pain where either my entire lower back hurts or my entire rib cage feels inflammed. I started having what felt like a fluttering heart beat back few weeks ago. Wasn't sure if it was anxiety or a heart issue. Went for an ecg and all things came back normal .in addition, my right arm has hurt very badly on multiple occasions throughout the month for seemingly no reason and no overuse, along with a strange tightness only on the right side of my neck. Tonight, I had a few strange zinging like shooting pains in the right side of my neck. My heart rate feels raised again although could be anxiety related. Should I be checking for heart issues again, or visiting an orthopedic doctor?

                                    Brief Answer:
Anxiety and muscle spasm likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The symptoms that you are having are anxiety related and can happen due to a muscle spasm. Since the cardiac cause was ruled out a few days ago it is best to consult a physician or an orthopedician for oral muscle relaxants and a novel anti-anxiety medication. Regular stretching exercises will also help.
I hope this answers your query.
