Question : Hi , I'm getting Chemo its only for 20 minutes and also Ketruda, I'm doing great, I don't feel sick, and my oncologist is very pleased with my blood test. He said my platelet are good, and he he so pleased. This morning I work up with 99.5 temperature, but I don't feel tired or sick, My face just feels flushed. I had my treatments 6 days ago, can that be from the chemo & ketruda, My appetite i good, I feel as though I don't even have lung cancer. What is causing the temperature.

The fact that you had chemotherapy 6 days ago, we need to exclude the neutropenic fever.

I will suggest you a simple blood test i.e. CBC with peripheral blood smear to check the white cells and the possibility of further treatment if at all needed.
