Hi. I'm Hoping You Can Help With A Possible Cause

For almost a year I have dizziness, waves of blurry vision, and for 5 months I have had hives. I also get very weak and shaky at least once a day. I have pain in my legs on and off. As time goes on I have been getting worse. A neurologist said the dizziness is from my perifial neuropathy which he recently diagnosed, but I feel that all these problems may be from one thing. I have had Ct scans and MRI's and that checked out fine. All this has been so debilitating. Any ideas?
Thanks.

The cause of peripheral neuropathy should be found and treated.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.
I have read your query and here is my advice.
Peripheral neuropathy is a feature of some underlying conditions that may cause peripheral nerves damage.
Autonomic nervous system may be damaged by the same underlying conditions(s) that cause peripheral neuropathy, resulting this way in autonomic symptoms such as weakness ( fainting, shaking ) etc.
So, if your Neurologist diagnosed you with peripheral neuropathy, is necessary also to find and treat the underlying cause that may be diabetes, low vitamin B12, prolonged alcohol abuse, heavy metals poisoning, low thyroid gland function, autoimmune diseases, drugs adverse effects, etc.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Adverse effects of drugs is a possibility.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
Yes, adverse effects of certain drugs may cause symptoms such as yours, and peripheral neuropathy.
So, if you use any of the drugs that may cause such issues, you should stop it gradually.
Discuss with your Doctor for these issues.
Hope I helped you.
Feel free to discuss with me if you have further questions.
