                                            Question : Hi
I've just had sex and noticed a large dark patch on top of a major vein in my pennis. It looks like a burst vein. There's no pain but I am really concerned. I just want to know what I should do or expect?

                                    Brief Answer:
Nothing to be worried about
Detailed Answer:
hello
Thanks for query .
Based on the facts and photograph that you have uploaded you seem to have developed sub cuticular hemorrhage in shaft of the penis during dry and rough sex resulting from trauma to one of the small tributary of lateral superficial vein of penis .
Apply Thrombophob ointment gently thrice daily .
Do not massage the shaft of the penis .
Can take anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac twice daily .
Ensure to avoid sexual encounters or masturbation till it gets absorbed completely .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Does a "sub cuticular hemorrhage" just mean a bruise? Is it serious? Will there be any long term damage?
