Hi, Lately, I Have Been Reacting Poorly To Milk And

Lately, I have been reacting poorly to milk and a protein powder with the following ingredients:
GB: Milk protein Isolate (micellar casein, whey),Emulsifier, Lecithin, Thickening agent: Xanthan gym. Extra in Flavored products: Low fat cacao (cappuccino Real, Chocolate Fudge), coffe ( Cappuccino Real), Color: Beetroot red (Strawberry Cream, Wild Berry), Flavor, Sweetener (Aspartame*, Accesulfame).
The above protein powder makes me react a lot more than milk.
My symptoms have been a bad stomach and diarrhea. Also, I have experienced brain fog as well due to the protein powder (the milk also affected my brain to a somewhat lesser extent). Also, I occasionally feel a slight burning sensation in my lower right abdomen.
I had a gene test done recently which showed that I shouldn't have lactose intolerance. However, my total S-IgE was several times higher than it should be. On the other hand, this wasn't due to milk protein allergy either (I took a test for milk protein allergy called f2).
I do have a habit of drinking too much water (about 4 liters per day). Can this be relevant?
What can be the reason for all of this? What additional tests should I have done?
Listen to your body.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
Have seen your details and i appreciate your concerns.
See every human body is a different ecosystem in itself.
Though medical science claims to have evolved a lot yet fact is that i reality we have not achieved even 0.1℅.
The best answer your query sir is avoid and stop any thing which hurts your body.
Allergy is a natural sign that your body can't tolerate a specific thing.
I don't think that any investigation can answer your why..But the best thing is that hundreds of other things are available if you want a high protein source.
So just change your protein to Veg protein powder etc and listen to your body.
20 grams of well absorbed protein is much better then 100 grams of protein to which body is allergic.
Follow your body..All these tests etc have limitations.
No tests suggested.Just change the protein source.
Hope i was helpful.
Thank you.
