Question : Hi,
Me and my wife are trying to conceive although we had to undergo albendazole treatment. We have heard this may severely affect sperm quality and or increase birth defect. How much time should we wait before trying to conceive again optimally. Thank you so much.

I have understood your concern.
I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

As you might be aware that Tablet Albendazole is a deworming agent.
it acts on the gut worms that might cause many problems. Also the nutritional contents of the food and supplements get absorbed by the worms.
Secondly, this medicine gets washed out from human body within 3 to 5 days.
So if it is taken once orally, it won't last longer in the body.
In my opinion, you need not worry about the same.
