Implantation bleeding could be on July 15th but this does not mean you are pregnant- details when a pregnancy test should be done, given below
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service,
If your cycles are regular and 25 days, then your ovulation day would be 14 days before the next coming period. This means that if you expect your next periods on the 23rd of July then your ovulation would be around the 9th of July.
Implantation happens day 6 after conception. So, if you conceived around the 9th of July, it would be expected to have implantation bleeding around the 15th of July.
On the other hand, there are other causes for bleeding between periods and the above calculations do not guarantee you are pregnant and that the bleeding was necessarily from implantation.
Normally the way to know for sure is a pregnancy test. A blood test (blood BHCG) can detect pregnancy as early as day 11 after conception while a urinary pregnancy test takes at least 2 weeks from conception to come out positive (which is after you have missed a period)
To conclude:
You can have a blood test (Beta-HCG) from the 19th of July or a urinary pregnancy test from the 24th of July. Sometimes a day or two may be needed in some patients to have high enough levels so I would advise you to wait another couple of days beyond these days to increase the chance of the test is accurate.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
There are many potential reasons for brown discharge between periods, thus it is impossible to say, with the amount of information we have now, which is the exact cause.
The best way to know is to first have a 'Repeated' pregnancy test (the blood test should be positive in another couple of days if you are pregnant) and also a gynecological visit with a transvaginal ultrasound if the pregnancy test is negative.
On the other hand, there is no reason to rush in examinations if the bleeding does not last or it does not repeat.
To conclude:
- I understand you are concerned which may be the cause of the discharge you are having today
- having a repeated pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy is the first step in the investigation
- if your brown discharge is lasting more than a week or it reoccurs then other investigations may be needed such as a gynecological exam and possibly a transvaginal ultrasound to finally identify the cause.
- many times bleeding is due to hormonal disbalances and there is nothing to worry but structural conditions can be ruled out with the above examinations if bleeding lasts or is recurrent.
I hope this answers your query.

Urinary pregnancy test comes out positive only after the due date
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
It is a pleasure to assist you.
Only the blood test can be done now, as for the urinary test it will not come out positive until after the due date.
If you wish, you may have a urinary test today (they are cheap and easily accessible) but if it is negative it does not mean there is no pregnancy. In this case, you will need to repeat the urinary pregnancy test after the due date.
If your cramps increase you may need to see your doctor. There are some cases that women interpret an early pregnancy bleeding as menstruation, this would be the very rare case if the bleeding in the 28-th of XXXXXXX would be due to an early pregnancy bleeding. If this is the case (which is very unlikely), the pregnancy test would be positive by now. This is why I would say you can have a urinary pregnancy test now (to make sure this is not what happened with you) and if negative repeat it after the due date.
I hope this answers your query.
