My teen son developed small, red circular patches on his face suddenly. No itchiness. No scaliness. What could this be???

I read your query and here is my advice.

I see the picture you attached and he has three red circular dots on his cheek. They are not elevated from skin level and they don't seem like allergies or insect bites or any specific pathology.
I want to know some more details like if he has any others on the other parts of body.
Does he suffer any known pathologies?
Did he use any object and accidentally did it?
How long has he been with them and did they increased in number with time?

Today, it looks the same. No other spots on his body. Just these 3 circular marks. They appeared yesterday. They do not look like bug bites. And they do not bother him. He wasn’t laying on anything. No indentations. It’s weird! And my apologies for asking the question twice. I’ll attach a picture from this morning.
