Question : Hi,

One rusted nail got inserted in my foot a week ago and I took Tetanus vaccine. Unfortunately, today, I got a cut and bleed a little by scratching my hand from an iron handle that was rusted. So, do I have to take another shot of Tetanus? I have heard that one doesn't have to take a Tetanus shot for another 5 years from the time of taking one.

So, do I again have to take a Tetanus shot or I am already protected?

As you have already taken Tetanus vaccine, you are already protected.
As per Medical literature, you don't need to vaccinate again for 10 years.Another booster dose can be taken after 10years.
