Question: Hi, Recently had bloodwork done. My neutrophilis count was 70.1 and my lymphocytes was 22.1 and my A/g ratio is 1.1. Now from own research theres an underlying infection present.. Or I have compounds of stress..

I also have blood pressure drops and it has it caused me to faint. 3x this has happened. They diagnosed me as having syncope.. Now could they be related. My last episode I lost my vision almost completely, ringing in my ears and my heart rate was so slow. I had to actually force myself to breathe until i collapsed.. Everyone i talk to says im okay. And my results are normal. Could there be something they are missing?

Brief Answer:
Post CBC abd ither blood report. cardiac assesment recommended

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thanks for posting your query on Ask A Doctor forum,
Kindly, post your complete count blood (CBC) report for interpretation. The absolute blood counts are important and not just percentage.
The A:G ratio is altered, however, kindly post the values of albumin and globulin also.
Drops in blood pressure and fainting episodes are suggestive of syncope.
The symptoms of syncope, episodic loss of vision and ringing in ears can be due to variation in blood pressure.
I suggest you to consult your cardiologist for cardiac assessment and get investigations like holter and tread mill tests.
These investigations will determine the variation of heart rate over a period of time and thus help to plan management.

Hi, Thank you for your reply and answer.

I posted below in the reports screenshots of my bloodwork. I wasn't sure if it saved so theres probably duplicates of the reports. Sorry for this.

I will most certainly look into these tests as it has me more than concerned lately. Ekg and X-rays, were taking as well as a lateral. Results can back normal. But my symptoms just have me just bewildered because I'm being told I'm okay. But yet, I'm extremely fatigued, have waves of dizziness that come and go. Loss of appetite, and I get dehydated quickly.. Sometimes I have shortness of breath and I wake up in the middle of night extremely thirsty.. The episode before this one.. I had tremendous body tremors, Was actually hospitalized for acouple of hours for syncope and they told me I was extremely dehydrated, and they did some test when i stand up to check my blood pressure. They said from a laying position to a standing position I guess my blood pressure dropped 30 points.. He said that wasn't a good sign. And that was about a year ago when that happened. So Idk what else I can do besides take your advice. And see what i can find out.

Thanks, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
The blood reports show high eGFR suggesting chronic kidney disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
I have gone through the reports posted by you.

The complete blood count (CBC) is without normal limits.
The absolute neutrophil and lymphocyte counts are within normal limits.
The biochemistry parameters glucose, electrolytes, and liver function tests are within normal limits.
eGFR is above 60 which indicates chronic renal disease.
Albumin and globulin are within normal limits.
A:G ration is slightly low, however, there is nothing to worry about since albumin and globulin are within normal limits.

So, you should consult a nephrologist for further work up.
The symptoms described by you - dehydration and variations in blood pressure can be due to renal disease.
So, I suggest you consult your nephrologist for the assessment of kidneys.

Thanks and take care
