Question : Hi doc,
I was using MEMTI LITE cream(hydroquinone,tretinoin&mometasone furoate) and pearl white soap for pimples prescribed by doctor.
In between i used alum powder and XXXXXXX water and olive oil to remove unwanted facial hair.I also use to apply turmeric powder daily.then after few days pimples started on my face like in pics from past 2 months.Currently am having safi herbal blood purifier.
I stopped all above medicines and remedies now.Recently i visited another doc and he prescribed me FLUTISONE (FLUTICASONE PROPIONATE CREAM) and DOXT SL and DORCET L tabs for 10 days. Still i dont see any results.
Please advise me as i am going to marry in 2 months. Pictures attached.

Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your complaints and reviewed the attached photographs.
You are having moderate acne.
The medicine you have used in the past ( memti lite cream) is known to worsen acne.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to take tablet azithromycin 500 mg once daily for 3 consecutive days in a week for 6-8 weeks, apply benzoyl peroxide 2.5 percent gel on the pimples twice daily and use a mild soap free cleanser for washing face ( cetaphil cleansing lotion for sensitive skin).
Since acne is a chronic disease and will take some time to settle.
Don't expect results in 10 days.
You can stop fluticasone cream, doxt sl and dorcet L tablets also.
Besides this avoid sugary foods, dairy products, avoid too much cosmetics and oiling of scalp and don't pick the pimples.
