Brief Answer:
Yes, he may use Clonazepam

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking...

Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine class which is used for multiple reasons like for stress relief, sleep, anxiety, and can also be used for seizure due to calming action. So he may have it if necessary.

Next thing, he may undergo a contrast CT scan if necessary. There is certainly a risk of myocardial depression, but usually, it's temporary and relieves with time. Also, the risk is less as it enters heart in less concentration. So may undergo a CT scan if necessary.

For his current problems, he should modify his lifestyle. You may try giving some digestive syrup like Syrup or Cap Aristozyme after meals three times a day along with remaining medicines.

He should avoid fatty, oily and spicy diet. Have some walk after having food instead of taking rest. Have multiple small meals instead of heavy meals. Have regular sleep habits and avoid stress. Lots of green leafy vegetables, fruits.

Elevate the head end of the bed during sleep or rest. For immediate pain relief, you can have antispasmodic like tab Dicyclomine or Hyoscine 10mg whenever needed up to three times a day.

With respect to the heart, he should be on some more medicines to prevent decline of heart function like ACE inhibitors like Ramipril and Torsemide-Spironolactone combination, which will be helpful.

So, please discuss with your local doctor regarding this.

Hope this helps.
