Question : Hi doctor, I am 32 years male. One of my fingers has developed a rough patch on skin. The skin feels like dead to me. It developed couple of months back, but healed after 1.5 months ( I was applying Ring Guard during that time). Somehow it has come back again.

I have got the image. It doesn't seem like a fungal infection. It seems like a contact dermatitis.
I suggest you to apply a moisturizer e.g Cetaphil DAM cream Or Venusia XXXXXXX cream, twice daily. In addition I suggest you to apply a topical steroid e.g clobetasol propionate 0.05% cream (Tenovate ointment), twice daily.
