Question : Hi doctor

Would you please tell me if NICOTINE FREE VAPING puffing and not inhaling into my lungs , only sucking the vape into my mouth and not inhaling it or swallowing carries any risks?

The nicotine free vape only touches my mouth,teeth, inner cheeks, gums and mixes with my saliva...

Is it dangerous ?

Yes, it's harmful. Though you are not inhaling it, some part of vapors goes into lungs by normal inspiration process. You don't have control over it.

In some studies, it is found that nicotine free vaping is equally harmful.

Though it is nicotine free, it includes other toxic substances like formaldehyde, diacetyl which are equally harmful and carcinogenic like nicotine. It may cause various respiratory diseases like bronchitis and directly enter into blood through saliva.
