Question : Hi doctor, my daughter is 7.7 years old... three weeks back she developed fever with mild cough, after a week of medication with calpol(2 days) cough syrup 1 week , again we felt her voice changed and hoarseness in her throat ... now doctor suggested for nebulization with duolin(2ml- 8 hrs - 4 days) and budecort (2ml -12 hrs- 4 days) along with Montair Lc for kids(6ml).
As my daughter never been put in Nebulization .. how safe it is .. is it fine if I give only one dose? Wht should I do if I skip? Why the duration of two medicines vary .. how they are differentiated? Does it really required since her cold and voice change has not been recovered completely. Kindly advise.

Brief Answer:
Safe don't skip
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
There is no harm in using nebulisations as per doctors advice. Yes sometimes nebulisations are essential for treatment in kids. One dose may not help much.
Don't skip.
The doses are correct. Yes the difference in medicines requires different timings. Bude Cort can be given only 2 times daily.
Do not skip doses, do follow up with your doctor again in a couple of days to get your child examined if she doesn't improve.
Wishing your child good health and speedy recovery.
