Question: Hi good morning Dr some nutrition expert's say mixing raw egg with milk will be a poison is it true?I have been drinking since I am a child but not continuous depending on weather conditions.They also say it will make our hair thin and damage digestive system please do elaborate thanks again

Eating raw egg and milk is not harmful for you and not at all poisonous.

There is a protein found in raw egg white called Avidin ,which combines with biotin(a type of Vitamin B complex) and hinders its absorption.
This may cause Biotin deficiency,in the long run.

Raw and under cooked eggs may contain Salmonella,a harmful bacteria which cause food poisoning.

The body absorbs more first class protein when you eat cooked eggs so a cooked egg is more beneficial.

These are the reasons doctors advise for cooked eggs against drinking raw eggs.
