Question : Hi, i am 19 years old living in New XXXXXXX XXXXXXX My cough is just not going away. I am otherwise very healthy with no issues whatsoever but i keep coughing. It has been going on since last 2 months. Can it be due to air pollution? Also, it is mainly when I'm working out or playing sports (basketball) it gets intense at that time

Yes, air pollution can cause this kind of coughing.
Actually air pollution causes allergic bronchitis which ultimately leads to cough.
So in my opinion, you should definitely get done chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
You will need anti allergic and antihistamine combination.
