Hi, In January I Fell On The Sidewalk And A
Question: Hi, in January I fell on the sidewalk and a rebar punched a 1/4 inch hole just below my kneecap. The doctor did an x ray and said there wasn’t any injury to the joint or anything. It’s healed a lot but I still can’t do squats (the exercise) or run or jump very well because the pressure on my knee begins to hurt it. Will it ever go back to the same as it was before? If so does it just take time for it to heal completely? About how long do you think it would take until I can have full range of motion again?
Brief Answer:
I recommend physical therapy!
Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks so much for this query.
I have reviewed your information fully. Normally, you should regain your full range of motion but might take longer that you wished. Best way to speed up things is to do physical therapy supervised sessions to help you get to where you want and belong faster. It would be a gradual and slow process.
I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me as you please.
