Question : Hi , my 4 year daughter broke the thermometer on mouth and I think that she is swallowed some amount of Mercury , what to do ?
I tried to vomit her but she doesn't do the vomit right now, kindly suggest me what to do ASAP.

Thanks for asking on this platform

I can understand your concern. Mercury ingestion can cause various stomach and neurological problems.
I request you to take her to an emergency with facility of pediatric treatment. It is not clear whether she has ingested Mercury or not and what is the amount. An urgent xray will clear the picture. If needed laxatives need to be given to increase the intestinal motility to expel from GI tract. In case of any symptom some antidote like succimer may also be needed.
