                                            Question : Hi, my daughter is 14 months old. she has cold and cough . since 2-3 days she developed rashes in the diaper area which have now started to heal , however my main concern is that it has been about 5 hours and she has not passed urine. in the afternoon she passed urine of CV dark colour and have dry and red cheeks. usually she urinates every 2-3 hours. pls advice

I would not take this lightly as it could indicate dehydration. You need to give your child plenty of ORS (Oral rehydration solution) and plenty of fluids to drink.
Continue to do so till the passage of urine normalizes.

For an infant it is ok to pass urine 8times or more in 24 hours although the gap between two episodes is variable. Not passing urine for more than 6 hours is a clear indication of dehydration.
