Question : Hi, my first day of my last period was 23rd April and I was prescribed novelon to regulate my cycle for periods which I started on the 5th of May 2025 as I have a history of not getting periods for months ( no pregnancy was ever detected I just don't get my periods for some reason) I had taken the novelon pill for 7 days , had unprotected sex and then took my 8th pill ( all on time , no missed tablets , no missed window of more than 12 hours) should I take an emergency contraception pill (i-pill) ?

If I have understood the information correctly
You have started the tab Novelon on 11th day of your cycle and a unprotected intercourse on 19th day of the cycle.
Usually Novelon should be started on 5th day of the cycle for better ovulation suppression. Since you have started it on 11th day and had intercourse in the unsafe window of the cycle I would recommend an emergency pill.
Kindly discuss the same with your gynecologist and decide on the medication.
