Question : Hi, my name is Waldemar Barraza, I have a fever of 102 degrees now and have a minor sore throut with some cough. No stomach problems or any diahrrea. It started yesterday, when I came home with sweats and fevers of 101 degrees. I sweated all night and in the morning I felt better. My wife gave me Nyquil and 2 aspirins.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Start betadine gargle and antacid. Take paracetamol and anti allergic tablet also. Take steam inhalation. Take more fluids orally.

Please consult an Ent surgeon. Give a throat swab for culture and sensitivity to microbiology laboratory and you need to start antibiotic according to the report after prescribed by doctor.

It will resolve within 2 week.
