Question : Hi, on my left forearm I have a 1 inch odd looking bruise what appeared 3 days ago.after my night sleep. Have some pain when putting pressure on my skin area from my back hand to the bruise location (at half point of forearm. When I stretch/straighten my Arm it feels tense like a sore muscle. My wife thought I should visit a doctor. Not sure if I should do so

Hi and welcome. There is no need to be worried. This is probably just a hematoma caused by broken subcutaneous vein or there was an unnoticed injury or bite during sleep. I suggest to apply heparin gel 2x daily and observe it. If there will be spread of redness around it, then you should see dermatologist. Otherwise, just wait till it disappear. Wish you good health.
