Brief Answer:
Very likely this is due to gastroenteritis- advises given

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service,

The symptoms you are explaining are very likely due to a viral infection such as gastroenteritis. Patients may feel nauseous, have stomach pain, diarrhea and in some cases even fever and vomiting.

It generally is expected to subside in a few days and does not go beyond a week.
It is important that you take oral rehydration solutions to substitute water and electrolytes lost with diarrhea and this should help you feel better soon. No other treatments are needed in most of the cases.

It is important though that in case a letter is needed, you should let your PCP know and possibly have a visit with him so you can attain that letter. Some jobs need a letter from the doctor if their employees are missing because of being sick.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
