Question : Hi sir,Long back(10 years) I had sex and oral sex with commercial sex workers.I am having erectile dysfunction since 6 years.I am having burning sensation in anus and pain in groin,perenium,pelvis.Urine culture tests are negative.Vdrl,FTA-ABS and gonorrhea,chlamydia pcr tests(urine) are negative.My gram stain of stool test result is -Rare gram positive bacilli,few intracellular gram negative cocci,few polymorphonuclear cells,few squamous epithelial cells seen.Please give suggestions

Thanks for the query.
I have gone through your reports and I can understand your concerns.
The STD panel is all negative which means you don’t have any sexually transmitted disease. A contact 10 years back does not cause any problems and your erectile dysfunction can not be attributed to sexual contact happened 10 years back.
Few bacterial growth have been isolate from your rectal swab, which might be normal commensals if the peri anal area and does not indicates any active disease process.
As of now nothing much to worry and avoid unnecessary anxiety.
You can apply over the counter available anometrogyl ointment which will help with itching in the peri anal area.
