Question: Hi there, I recently and incidentally discovered a very soft, moveable and squishy lump just inside the opening of the Vagina. It is totally painless and asymptomatic. I have no idea how long I’ve had it for. It sort of pops out when my legs are spread open. I’m 38 and have a picture?

Brief Answer:
Can be a Bartholin's cyst.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A soft squishy painless lump just inside the opening of vagina can be a Bartholin's cyst. This usually remains asymptomatic but can become painful in case it gets infected. This needs to be surgically removed in case it becomes painful or infected or grows to a large size. It is best to consult a gynecologist and get it examined for confirmation of diagnosis.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
