Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but in general it is not recommended to combine alcohol and antibiotics to avoid increasing thier side effects as drowsiness and confusion.. also alcohol interfere with the action of some antibiotics such as metronidazole, tinidazole, cephalosporins and cefatam. It is better to avoid alcohol consumption while on antibiotics. I hope you find this helpful
