Question : Hi,I am 29 years old male.I recently had my blood tests done and while everything is normal I see that the creatinine serum value is 1.1.Now my doctor didn't say anything abut this(may be he overlooked it.Dont know). Can you tell me if this is something that I should be worried about and if so then what are the measures I can take to reduce it.
Brief Answer:
concern about a lab value
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr. XXXXXXX and welcome to Ask a Doctor.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The normal serum creatinine level for a male adult is 0.7-1.3
So you do not have to worry.
I need to apologize to you. Your question came in yesterday; however, I just found it in my list today.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.

Hi Doctor,
Thank your for the reply.I had another question.Good to know its in the normal range. However, since its on the higher side of the normal range do I need to follow any dietary restriction in order to maintain the normal level?

Brief Answer:
You would not need a special diet
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back Mr. XXXXXXX
If you are healthy with a healthy lifestyle, you would not need a special diet. Get a full night's sleep, healthy diet, exercise 5 times a week and do not use tobacco or any illicit drugs.
If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
Wish you good health.
